Fulham hopes to return to the Premier League with a 13-goal attacker

The 28-year-old Ajax forward Chuba Akpom is a player Fulham is interested in signing in the summer. Fulham has reportedly begun preparing for the impending summer transfer market and is looking into methods to strengthen their offense, per a report from Allnigeriasoccer. The Cottagers are eager to get Chuba Akpom back to England because they are interested in his services. Akpom used to be a member of Arsenal’s youth team. He did make their first team, but things didn’t go exactly as planned. Prior to the current season, he established himself at Middlesbrough before moving to Ajax.

Come back to England, Chuba Akpom?

Despite his stellar record at the Dutch squad, the 28-year-old is annoyed by his limited first-team opportunities. Although he has played in 32 of their 44 games, he has only started eight of them and has played fewer than 1,300 minutes. Despite spending little time on the field, Akpom has 13 goals and one assist. The former Middlesbrough player is not content since he wants to start every game and has thought about leaving the Dutch team for the winter. But because Ajax wanted him in their ranks for the second half of the season, they got in the way of him.

Even though circumstances have slightly improved since John van ‘t Schip arrived, Akpom has already decided what his future holds. There is a lot of interest in his services from all around Europe, and he wants to leave Ajax.

Desiring the 28-year-old, Fulham

After the current season concludes, Fulham, a Premier League team that was interested in signing him in the winter, may come back to seek his services. Aleksandar Mitrović left the Cottagers last summer, although they did add a few players to fill his void. Regretfully, they haven’t been able to handle it as well as they could have, and they intend to sign a new striker during the next transfer window. The 28-year-old Akpom has been playing fantastically, and the Cottagers may try to bring him back to England.
