Report: 2024 NFL Draft: Vote on the Packers’ top 1st-round pick option

The Draft Day Predictor on ESPN has been retired.

an attempt by ESPN to determine an exact percentage likelihood that players would be available or taken by the time a team goes on the clock in the first round, has been discontinued. Let’s use this last week before the 2024 NFL Draft begins to rate prospects who could actually be available for the Green Bay Packers with the 25th overall choice. We can do this by using these data and the consensus draft board.

Initially, since the Packers appear to be set at the quarterback, receiver, and tight end positions, I will not be including those players in this discussion. With those positions excluded, ESPN projects the following players to have

Joe Alt, OL, Notre Dame (ranked ninth on the draft board of consensus) Oregon State’s #14 Taliese Fuaga, OL Penn State’s Olu Fashanu, OL (#15) Latham, JC, OL, AL (#21) Texas’s Byron Murphy, DL (#17) Dallas Turner (#8), EDGE, AL Verse, Jared (#13), EDGE, Florida State Terron Arnold (#11), CB, Alabama Toledo’s Quinton Mitchell, CB (#12)

Who else are the Packers able to acquire? The players that ESPN thinks are still in the running at number 25 are included in the list below. Prospects for the offensive line, cornerbacks, and a few defensive linemen are typically what you’re looking at.

Washington’s Troy Fautanu, OL (#19) Amarius Mims (#23), an OL from Georgia Duke’s Graham Barton, OL (#27) Jackson Powers-Johnson (#29), OL, OR Oklahoma’s Tyler Guyton, OL (#30) JerZhan Newton (#25), DL, IL Laiatu Latu, UCLA (#16), EDGE Penn State’s Chop Robinson, EDGE (#28) Darius Robinson, #35, EDGE, MO Iowa’s Cooper DeJean, DB (#20) Nate Wiggins (#22), CB, Clemson Alabama’s Kool-Aid McKinstry, CB (#24)

If that is the actual composition of the board on draft day, who would you pick? Please cast your vote below.
