Report : “Green Bay Packers’ 2024 NFL Draft Prediction: Who’s the 25th Pick?”

Who will the Packers take with the 25th selection in the first round of the 2024 NFL Draft?

The three-day 2024 NFL Draft begins Thursday with Round 1. Here are ten players the Green Bay Packers will likely examine with the 25th pick. 1. Cooper DeJean (CB/S), Iowa The 6-foot, 202-pound DeJean is exactly what the Packers want and need: an athletic, versatile player at a position with question concerns. DeJean can play either cornerback, where 2021 first-round selection Eric Stokes has been injured, or safety, where the Packers do not have a definite starter other than free agent signee Xavier McKinney. In three seasons at Iowa, DeJean went from starting only one game as a true freshman to being named the Big Ten defensive back and return specialist of the year in 2023. He not only had seven interceptions in his last two seasons.

The 6-foot-7, 340-pound Mims exudes promise. Despite being one of the top five-star prospects coming out of high school, he only played eight games in his three seasons at Georgia. His first two career starts came in 2022, when he started both of the Bulldogs’ College Football Playoff games. His resume might have been even greater if he hadn’t missed six games last season due to an ankle ailment before withdrawing from the bowl game. Packers general manager Brian Gutekunst admires athletic players and believes they have their greatest playing days ahead of them. Mims’ 9.59 relative athletic score was one of the greatest ever for a lineman, and he may have the highest ceiling of any lineman in the draft.

3. Graham Barton, OL at Duke. The 6-foot-5, 311-pound Barton fits the Packers’ offensive lineman uniform wonderfully. He is agile and has the ability to play anywhere on the line after playing as the Blue Devils’ left tackle for the last two seasons. Green Bay like moving college left tackles around, and Barton, who has shorter-than-ideal arms but excellent feet and strength, might return to center in Green Bay after starting there as a true freshman when he arrived at Duke.
