Report: Debrief: 32 Thoughts for 32 Teams Following the 2024 NFL Draft

Following the completion of the 2024 NFL Draft, here are 32 perspectives on 32 clubs. It should be self-explanatory.

Marvin Harrison Jr., the fourth overall pick, offers the Cardinals’ offense a shot. They may still be limited on receivers, but keep in mind that Michael Wilson had an unappreciated rookie season in 2023. The offensive line is in fantastic form, and offensive coordinator Drew Petzing impressed in his first year on the job last season. To me, it comes down to the idea that it’s nearly impossible to dedicate too many resources to quarterbacking since the potential payout is so great. I am not certain Penix will be a top-10 quarterback, but the Falcons clearly saw him that way. It’s absurd to dispute the Ravens’ team-building process. However, they had a large number of requirements that could not be addressed with a single draft. Their top two picks, cornerback Nate Wiggins (No. 30 overall) and lineman Roger Rosengarten (No. 62), will most likely have to play straight away due to depth-chart deficiencies. There is space for a few of the Ravens’ infamous summer free agent signings to have an early impact along the defensive line, at linebacker, and possibly at wideout.
