Meulensteen is in the disappointing camp following a brief and unsatisfactory time in charge of Fulham. He started as an assistant manager with the club in November 2013, but a month later he was promoted to manager. He lasted only 17 games in the position, winning four, drawing three, and losing ten, before being fired and replaced by Felix Magath. Neither he nor Fulham remember the tenure kindly, and he admits he still doesn’t understand how he got up in charge.
