Report: The £65 million playmaker has asked on Liverpool to relocate to Anfield.

The £65 million playmaker has asked on Liverpool to relocate to Anfield.

Do you recall when Fernando Torres departed to fail miserably at Chelsea? Since deciding to leave Anfield during the 2018 winter transfer window, Coutinho has, in my opinion, been an even worse failure. Now what? According to reports, the Brazilian international wants to return to the Merseysiders in order to further his professional career.

Liverpool supported the agreement to sign a “elite” £53 million midfield player.

Sport claims that the former Inter Milan playmaker is in a difficult situation. Barca does not want him because he failed at the Nou Camp. Furthermore, not even Bayern Munich is prepared to extend his loan. Thus, Coutinho called Liverpool to inquire about his ability to return to Anfield as soon as possible.

The European Champions’ decision, though, does not support the Brazilian. According to the Spanish news source, several Premier League clubs are now interested in signing him because Liverpool does not. According to reports, Barca would even take a payment of 75 million euros (£65 million) for his sale under the current circumstances. The great Phil Thompson of Anfield stated earlier this month on Sky Sports (via Goal) that he believes Coutinho is a creative genius and that the Reds should re-sign him. The South American decided to relocate despite Klopp’s warnings against it, and he is now deeply regretting it. We are aware of the 27-year-old’s abilities. For us, he was flawless during the first part of but left us in the second half of the 2017–18 season, believing that the grass was greener in Spain. We won the Champions League the previous season and are in contention to win the Premier League this one without him. He hasn’t been missed, and Klopp hasn’t yet signed a natural CAM to take his place. Let us know if you would be happy to see Coutinho return.
