Sorting the 16 Liverpool loan players according to their chances of making an impact on Arne Slot’s starting lineup

With new manager Arne Slot in charge, the Liverpool starting lineup is expected to be drastically altered the following season. However, which loanees stand the best chance of making the club under the new manager? There are sixteen Liverpool players out on loan as of this writing. With a few noteworthy outliers, the Reds academy produced the majority of those loanees. Every player that is currently on loan has been examined in greater detail, and we have ranked them according to Slot’s likelihood of making the starting lineup.

16. Arroyo Anderson It appears highly probable that Arroyo’s time at Liverpool is coming to an end. The defender has not yet made a senior appearance for the Reds and will turn 25 later this year. He is presently playing for Burgos in the Spanish second division after spending seven different loan stints away from the team. 15. Adam Lewis Lewis has previously said that he “would love” to make the move from his loan to Newport County permanent, which would exclude his possibility of playing for Slot. 14. Balagizi James The 20-year-old played on loan for Wigan Athletic for the first half of the season before moving on to Kilmarnock in January, where he struggled to make an impression. For both loans

Balagizi is far from the Liverpool starting lineup at this point, having only played 484 minutes in spurts. 13. James Notris For Norris, this summer might make or break his Liverpool deal, as he has one year left on it. The 21-year-old hasn’t been a regular starter but has spent the season on loan at Tranmere. 12. Ojrzynski, Jakub After spending time on loan at Caernarfon Town and Radomiak Radom, the Polish goalkeeper has been honing his craft at Dutch second-division team Den Bosch this season. Ojrzynski probably has another loan stint coming up next season after spending a significant portion of the campaign on the bench. 11. Billy Koumetio It’s difficult to determine Koumetio’s situation from the outside looking in.

Overall, Beck has performed well in Scotland, but it is unclear if he will be able to transition to Premier League play. He will undoubtedly be watched carefully during the preseason. 3. Tyler Morton Following an outstanding loan stint with Hull City, Morton being in and around the first team in the near future wouldn’t be all that surprising. For Liam Rosenior’s team, Morton plays at the base of midfield. He has already shown that he is talented enough for the Championship and appears ready for the next phase of his career. 2. Berger Sepp The defender is having a fantastic loan experience in the Bundesliga with Mainz and another Dutch player. Slot

“I feel like I’m doing okay. I’m able to play at Liverpool. I’m competitive. However, starting over is not the same. It’s difficult to defeat [Ibrahima] Konate and Virgil. I’m sure it will be challenging. 1. Carvalho, Fabio Liverpool will not want to see the £7.7 million they spent on the Portuguese midfielder in 2022 go to nothing. Under Klopp, Carvalho never really had much of an opportunity, but after an outstanding loan stint with Hull City, the 21-year-old may have a fresh start under Slot next season.
