Next season, Didi Hamann says the £34 million Liverpool player needs to get far better under Arne Slot.

According to Dietmar Hamann, one Liverpool player needs to get better under Arne Slot for the upcoming campaign. After Jurgen Klopp was on for a quadruple in March, Liverpool’s season has finished in a disappointing manner. Since then, the Reds have lost the Premier League title match and been eliminated from both the FA Cup and the Europa League. Even though Liverpool had a challenging season finale, Klopp has established a solid team for Arne Slot, who is expected to be the club’s next manager. Since coming last summer, players like Dominik Szoboszlai, Wataru Endo, and Alexis Mac Allister have all made an impression. However, Dietmar Hamann, a former Liverpool player, is not as fond of one of Klopp’s most recent additions.

Hamann believes Ryan Gravenberch needs to get better. Hamann claimed in an interview with The Echo that Ryan Gravenberch needs to improve his closing third play. The Liverpool veteran stated, “He has to score goals and set up goals because there have been instances at Liverpool this season where they have needed a goal from someplace.” There have been occasions when he was given the opportunity to become well-known but failed. “I hope he gets another season; it’s his first, but I think he needs to improve on this one next season.”

Under Slot, Gravenberch might flourish at Liverpool.

Gravenberch has only managed 12 starts in the league this season, thus it hasn’t been the best debut season. Although the 21-year-old has shown signs of promise, he has not yet delivered performances that are consistent. That is to be expected for a young youngster playing in the Premier League for the first time, especially when there have been more encouraging signals lately. Although the Dutchman was benched during last weekend’s 4-2 victory against Tottenham, he has recently been praised for his progress. Given that Slot and Klopp have quite different lineups, Gravenberch is a player who could definitely flourish under his countryman. He is an excellent match for the team because of his technical skill on the ball.
