Report: Prior to the upcoming match, Liverpool is expected to receive a triple injury boost, with a comeback date being suggested.

Three players are reportedly getting close to making their individual comebacks, which means Liverpool might soon be getting a huge injury boost. The Liverpool Echo reports that for the Reds’ Europa League quarterfinal matchup against Atalanta on April 18, Jurgen Klopp may be pleased to see the return of Trent Alexander-Arnold, Alisson Becker, and Diogo Jota. All three players have been out since mid-February.

More encouraging news about injuries: Stefan Bajcetic, who hasn’t played for LFC in almost seven months, is expected to return to senior squad training next week. Although it would be ideal if Liverpool could secure a sizable lead over Atalanta in the first leg of their match this week, Klopp wouldn’t have to go all out in the rematch in Italy. Still, it would be a huge boost if Trent, Alisson, and Jota were all healthy for the trip to Bergamo in nine days.

The latter two in particular could very well be rested for the following Sunday’s Premier League trip to Fulham. Despite their impressive performances over the last two months, Conor Bradley and Caoimhin Kelleher will probably return to the bench once the vice captain and Brazil’s top player are fully fit.

In order to give LFC the best chance of winning two more titles this season, rotation of the team will be crucial over a hectic stretch of four away games in ten days in the later half of April. The availability of Trent, Alisson, and Jota for that intense stretch of games might have a significant impact on Liverpool’s quest for success both domestically and in Europe. As the crucial games approach quickly, all we need is for no one to be added to the injury list in the interim.
