Update: Liverpool makes a serious approach for a 26-g/a jewel, but the Real Madrid board steps in.

Eduardo Inda has alleged that Real Madrid’s management has intervened in Liverpool’s rumored pursuit of Rodrygo. The Brazilian forward has reportedly attracted a bid of £103.1m, but Real Madrid is keen on retaining the 23-year-old. According to Inda, Rodrygo’s style aligns well with Liverpool’s, but Real Madrid is firm in their refusal to sell him. Rodrygo has been impressive for Real Madrid this season, contributing to 26 goals in 47 games across all competitions. Despite the hefty bid, it’s unsurprising that Madrid rejected Liverpool’s approach, considering they reportedly paid £39.5m for him when he was 17. While the bid showcases ambition, Rodrygo is expected to remain in Madrid for the foreseeable future, given his talent and potential.
