Next Monday, Jurgen Klopp will go from Liverpool. Undoubtedly, this marks the end of an era at Anfield, but his successor has a bright future ahead of them because to the work Jurgen Klopp has done. In fact, within the last 18 months, Klopp has brought in a lot of young players, so whomever takes over for the German would inherit an incredible youthful team. In an interview with The Anfield Wrap, Klopp talked about these young players and expressed his desire to work with them—especially Harvey Elliott—for a further ten years in a perfect world.

Is there a portion of you that wishes Harvey Elliott and you had ten more years together? Klopp was questioned. Yes, I do have that, and I would really like to. Every child who has arrived. Jarrell Quansah, Bobby Clark, and Conor Bradley, stated Klopp. “I would love to be around to accomplish that; they are really amazing.” I’ll watch and keep up with it. As long as they keep me on their list, which I would love to do, I’m pleased and I will call them, Klopp stated. Jurgen Klopp was working on something unique. Something truly unique might be developing at Anfield, which is why it’s so unfortunate that Klopp felt the need to leave Liverpool at this particular time.

These young players may very well be Liverpool’s future, but there’s currently a sense of anxiety at Anfield because no one knows what the next phase of the club’s history will hold. These young players would definitely become stars on Merseyside if Klopp stayed at Liverpool, but it’s unclear if they could follow the same path under a different manager. Now that Klopp has laid the proper groundwork, it is up to the incoming manager to lead these players in the right directions.
