Sources claim that Arsenal is planning to sign Benjamin Sesko before the deadline of June 30.

Football Insider has been informed by sources that RB Leipzig is making a concerted effort to hang onto attacker Benjamin Sesko while Arsenal plans to make a move to sign him this summer. The Slovenian international’s contract has a £56 million release clause that, according to reports, must be used before the end of June. With his contract set to expire in2028, the Bundesliga team is now trying to get rid of the 20-year-old’s buyout clause in an effort to keep him with the team. Although Football Insider reported that Arsenal may be priced out of a deal to acquire the Sporting Lisbon striker, the north London team is still keen in signing Viktor Gyokeres. The Portuguese champions are reportedly willing to wait for the entire £86 million to be paid to the Sweden international. Arsenal may try to sign Benjamin Sesko rather than Viktor Gyokeres. Gyokeres’ incredible debut season at Sporting has made him one of Europe’s most sought-after strikers. The 25-year-old, who signed a £20 million contract with Coventry City through 2028, scored 43 goals and provided 15 assists in 49 games across all competitions. The Slovenian joined Leipzig for £20 million last summer, and in 42 games, he has scored 18 goals. Prior to that, he was a player for Red Bull Salzburg. Also, Swansea City and Bristol City are vying for the signature of an Arsenal youth player.
