Liverpool may entertain offers for Darwin Nunez this summer following Arne Slot’s arrival, amid interest from Barcelona. According to Football Insider’s Inside Track podcast, senior correspondent Pete O’Rourke suggested that the 24-year-old might explore his options due to limited playing time towards the end of the season. However, it’s unlikely Barcelona can afford Nunez due to their financial issues. Arne Slot will likely determine Nunez’s future at Anfield after a season marked by inconsistency. Despite making 54 appearances and contributing 18 goals and 13 assists, Nunez started just one of Liverpool’s last seven games.

Only two years after joining Liverpool for £85 million from Benfica, doubts have been raised regarding his consistency and goal-scoring prowess, and it is now possible that he will depart the team. Barcelona is rumored to be keeping tabs on Nunez’s growth, but it’s doubtful they could afford the amount Liverpool will ask to release Nunez. After Football Insider reported that the club would hold talks over Mohamed Salah’s future after the season, there may be a lot of activity at Anfield this summer. Salah has also been linked to a move away.
