On Football Insider’s Inside Track podcast, senior correspondent Pete O’Rourke stated that Forest values the Brazilian defender at £40 million and hopes for multiple clubs to drive up the price. To comply with the Premier League’s Profit and Sustainability Rules, Forest plans to sell several first-team players, with Murillo being a prime candidate due to interest from Manchester United, Liverpool, and European clubs.
The 21-year-old, who joined Forest for £15 million last summer, had an impressive debut season under Nuno Espirito Santo, making 32 league appearances in 2023-24.
