Liverpool received a significant boost as three key players resumed training ahead of a crucial phase in their season.

Liverpool remain without the likes of long-term absentees Joel Matip and Thiago Alcantara though, while highly-rated young midfielder Stefan Bajcetic is also still on the sidelines.

Following their Europa League quarter-final first leg against Atalanta on Thursday, the Reds are back in Premier League action this weekend when they welcome Crystal Palace to Anfield.

The possible comeback of three pivotal players would greatly uplift Liverpool as they contend for the Premier League championship and aim for success in European competitions.

Before his injury, Alisson had participated in 24 matches across all competitions for Liverpool, while Alexander-Arnold had been featured in 29 games, registering two goals and providing nine assists. Jota had netted 14 goals in 28 matches before his injury sidelined him.
