Green Bay Packers: Pass Rusher Rashan Gary Comments on New Defensive Coordinator Jeff Hafley

The Green Bay Packers are aiming high for the 2024 NFL season. After a 9-8 finish and an unexpected victory over the Dallas Cowboys in the Wild Card Round, the young team is looking for an even deeper playoff run. Their loss to the San Francisco 49ers in the Divisional Round highlighted the need for some changes to enhance their performance.

A significant change was made early in the offseason when head coach Matt LaFleur decided to fire defensive coordinator Joe Barry, whose defensive strategies had been a point of contention, especially in the last season. LaFleur brought in Boston College head coach Jeff Hafley as Barry’s replacement. Hafley previously worked as a defensive backs coach for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Cleveland Browns, and San Francisco 49ers.
