Liverpool is making a determined effort to secure the signing of Leny Yoro by agreeing to meet the £42 million fee required by Lille. The club is eager to enhance their central defense with the young French starlet. Recent reports from Spain have highlighted Liverpool’s active pursuit of Yoro, with Mundo Deportivo confirming Lille’s £42 million (50 million euros) valuation for the 18-year-old, who will be a free agent next summer.

Despite Yoro’s preference for Real Madrid, the Spanish giants are hesitant to meet the asking price, banking on acquiring him for free in a year. However, both Liverpool and PSG are willing to meet Lille’s demands. According to MD, Liverpool has already submitted a bid of 50 million euros for the promising defender.

Additionally, Marca has reported that alongside Liverpool and PSG, Manchester United is also in the race to sign Yoro. Despite an offer from the French champions PSG amounting to 60 million euros, Yoro declined, waiting for Real Madrid to make their move.

We will continue to monitor this transfer saga and provide updates as they become available.
