SHOCKING: Jazz Chisholm Has Already Made a huge Mark For The Yankees (Insider Opens Up)……

The New York Yankees’ biggest need at the trade deadline was a third baseman. Did they receive one? Both yes and no. They agreed to trade three prospects, including slugging first baseman/catcher Augustin Ramirez, to the Miami Marlins on July 27 in order to obtain Jazz Chisholm Jr. Having never played third base professionally in the main or minor leagues, he was the only position player they acquired at the deadline. He was a middle infielder just from the time of his debut in 2020 to the 2022 campaign. With the exception of three games at second base last month to showcase his positional versatility to potential, the Marlins then promptly moved him to center field, where he played all of 2023 and most of 2024.

On July 28, he traveled to Boston to play with his new squad. He arrived just before the game started and was immediately placed in the center field lineup. They made him practice at third base, which was a completely foreign position, the following day in Philadelphia. He started at third base for the entire three-game series against the Phillies because they were so enamored with what they saw, and he looked like a pro while turning several spectacular plays. Chisholm’s bat has taken center stage despite his amazing defensive versatility. With two home runs on July 29 and 30, he became the first Yankees player in franchise history to hit four home runs in his first three games. He is 7-19 with four home runs in four games,
