Jasson Dominguez, a switch-hitting outfielder, is back in AAA after being on the injured list. His injury occurred immediately before Giancarlo Stanton went out, thereforewas unable to secure MLB at-bats at the time. He made his major league debut in 2023, blasting four home runs in his 31 at-bats. This season, Alex Verdugo has taken the majority of Dominguez’s at-bats. He was called in since Dominguez missed the start of the season due to Tommy John surgery. Verdugo thrived early in the season but has recently slumped.
