squad numbers for the 2024/25 season

The Premier League has received Fulham’s squad numbers for the 2024–2025 campaign. For the forthcoming campaign, there are a lot of changes, with several players donning clothes with personal significance. Bernd Leno, who has worn the number one shirt at Bayer Leverkusen and Arsenal in the past, now possesses it after Marek Rodák’s departure. Rodrigo Muniz was a strong contender for the coveted number nine shirt after his play starting in February, as the position remained empty for most of the previous campaign. The young striker, who also has an RM9 tattoo on his arm, felt that it meant a lot to him.

Jorge Cuenca has taken number 15, the shirt he wore during the season he made his name in La Liga while on loan with Getafe, despite wearing number 5 at Villarreal, which is empty here. While still at Everton, Alex Iwobi had 17 on his back at the beginning of 2023–2024; nevertheless, he had to take 22 when he joined Fulham. However, as Leno is now down to 1, the winger has obtained his favorite numbers, which he wore with Arsenal and which are also connected to his community project, Project 17.

Saša Lukić changed his number from 28 to 20, the same as the one he wore throughout his loan stint with Levante and his professional debut with Partizan Belgrade. Josh King and Jay Stansfield, who currently stand at 24 and 28, respectively, have been handed lower positions, while another Academy product has chosen to be nostalgic. At the age of sixteen in the 2016–17 season, Ryan Sessegnon made his senior debut with 30 on his back, tallying seven goals and dishing out five assists. Since rejoining the team, he has gone back to same squad number.

Emile Smith Rowe is using a similar strategy; he chose the number 32 jersey to match the one he wore when he made his Premier League debut for Arsenal in December 2019.
