Big target: Fulham  have now  sign “outstanding” star who idolises Gareth Bale

While Brentford is seeking a left-back to replace Sergio Reguilon, who has returned to Spurs following his loan stay last season, Fulham is seeking a rival for USMNT star Antonee Robinson. However, after starting the season against Bournemouth with Ola Aina and Nico Williams at full-back, Nottingham Forest is now searching for a natural left-back.

According to HITC, Newcastle United will permit Matt Targett to go on loan from St. James’ Park this summer in response to interest from Southampton, Fulham, Brentford, and Nottingham Forest. Despite a red card in the first half, the Magpies defeated the newly promoted Saints 1-0 to begin their Premier League campaign. The Saints have strengthened their midfield options with the addition of Mateus Fernandes from Sporting CP, while they continue to pursue a move for Targett to bolster their defense. The 20-year-old, who has already finished his physical, is expected to be Russell Martin’s 12th summer signing, following in the footsteps of Adam Lallana, Flynn Downes, and Ben Brereton Diaz. While the Scottish Champions are holding out for a club-record fee to allow the Denmark international to move on before the deadline on August 30th, the Saints, who had been tracking Celtic star Matt O’Riley all summer, have now fallen behind Brighton in the race for his signature.
