Done Deal: Hull city Encounters with millwall in championship ……..

On Saturday afternoon, Hull City and Millwall drew goalless in the Sky Bet Championship. The Lions had plenty of opportunities in Yorkshire, but they had to settle for a clean sheet and a point, which was their first of 2024–25. For his second appearance at The MKM Stadium, Japhet Tanganga was included in the starting lineup by Neil Harris, taking Shaun Hutchinson’s spot on the bench. Femi Azeez, a recent addition, and Murray Wallace, who made a comeback from injury in time to play, occupied that spot. Eight minutes in, the Lions had the ball in the net, but just before Duncan Watmore punched the ball home from six yards out, the referee blew up for a foul after George Saville’s corner kick.

After Millwall made a strong start to the game, Tanganga had two chances from the edge of the penalty box before Jake Cooper, making his 350th appearance for the team, nodded wide. The hosts’ first opportunity of the afternoon came from a harmless Marvin Mehlem free-kick. On minute 19, Saville broke through, giving The Lions a chance, but Ivor Pandur saved his attempt. After Hull attempted to open the score two minutes later, Lukas Jensen had to make a last-minute save by putting himself in the way of the shot, and Cooper skillfully stopped the ensuing effort to preserve the clean sheet. Throughout the first half, Millwall was pressuring Hull into giving up set-pieces, and another opportunity at goal came from one immediately
