Report: Buffalo Bills have signed one of Minnesota Vikings best (Safety)….

Two days after being released by the Minnesota Vikings, safety Lewis Cine was added to the practice squad of the Buffalo Bills.

On Thursday, the Buffalo Bills signed safety Lewis Cine to their practice squad, reserving their 17th and final place. The Minnesota Vikings selected Cine with the 32nd overall choice in the 2022 draft; the Vikings dismissed Cine on Tuesday, and he now plays for the Bills. In his two seasons in Minnesota, he played just 10 defensive snaps in 10 games due to a broken leg sustained during his rookie season. The 24-year-old Haitian weighs 199 pounds and stands 6-foot-2.

He had an outstanding collegiate career at Georgia, where in the 2021 national championship game, Georgia defeated Alabama 33–18, and he was voted defensive MVP. This offseason, Buffalo has struggled to agree on a safety position for the Bills as they look to replace the seven-year starting tandem of Jordan Poyer and Micah Hyde.

One starting berth has been secured by veteran Taylor Rapp, but the other is still up for grabs as the season’s opening match against Arizona on September 8 draws near. Due to injury, rookie second-round pick Cole Bishop and veteran free agent Mike Edwards missed a large portion of training camp, further complicating the position. Although they both started practicing again last week, it’s not certain when they’ll be cleared to play. The Bills also signed Jalen Virgil, who was cut by the Denver Broncos on Tuesday, and let go of Deon Cain, altering their practice squad. Virgil, an undrafted free agent, played for the Broncos for two seasons before missing the whole 2018 campaign with a knee injury.
