Confirmed report: Hull City signed two new goalkeepers for the next season..

The goalkeeper transfer quandary facing Hull City might be addressed by an unexpected late arrival.

The connection between Hull City and goalkeepers has been a contentious one of late; the much-discussed argument between manager Liam Rosenior and owner Acun Ilicali about Ryan Allsop’s selection was somewhat overly publicized, even though it happened after the fact;

Ivor Pandur’s support from the chairman was then followed by two summer arrivals that further complicated matters concerning selection: former Switzerland Under-21 international goalkeeper Anthony Racioppi arrived following the agreement with Young Boys, paving the way for the 25-year-old to sign a three-year contract.

With Harvey Cartwright and Thimothee Lo-Tutala already signed, City appeared to have a new foursome that would offer competition and appropriate cover for the goalie position. Then, on the day of the transfer deadline, four players became five as the Tigers seized the chance to sign Brighton & Hove Albion goalie Carl Rushworth for a full season on loan.
