In addition to adding Sander Berge to replace Palhinha in the lineup and Joachim Andersen returning from Premier League rival Crystal Palace in a £25 million deal to try and replace Tosin Adarabioyo, who left on a free transfer for Chelsea, they broke their transfer record to sign wantaway Arsenal midfielder Emile Smith Rowe.
