Unbelievable New York Jets have reported two players that are out Game….

Prior to the San Francisco 49ers game, the New York Jets release their first injury report.

Wes Schweitzer, an offensive lineman for the New York Jets, was the sole player to miss practice on Thursday due to a hand injury.

The Jets made public their first official injury report of the week in the lead-up to their game against the 49ers on Monday. On Friday and Saturday, the Jets will make more announcements before providing a game status. Schweitzer was now classified as a DNP, or did not take part. The 30-year-old lineman, who is starting his seventh NFL season, was a member of the Jets last season. Tyron Smith, a tackle on the offensive line, was also absent from training, although this time it was not because of an injury. A veteran’s day off was granted to the seasoned left tackle. Smith’s job will probably be managed by New York.

Four players—wide receiver Mike Williams (knee), offensive lineman Xavier Newman (shoulder), offensive lineman Max Mitchell (shoulder), and cornerback Jarrick Bernard-Converse (groin)—were named on the report but participated fully in Thursday’s exercise. Williams tore his ACL in the previous season, so the Jets limited his playing time in the summer and training camp. He is expected to play in the first game in New York. The 49ers’ official calf/Achilles injury report featured running back Christian McCaffrey, who was the most significant player. San Francisco anticipates that he will play a limited role in practices throughout the week. The NFL rushing leader from the previous season was held out of all three preseason games by the Niners due to a calf issue that surfaced at the beginning of training camp.
