Detroit Lions News: Analyst Says Detroit Lions’ ‘Luck’ Will Run Out

With their first NFC Championship in thirty years and an NFC North victory, the Detroit Lions had a Cinderella season in 2018. However, one analyst does not believe that the squad will have such “luck” in the forthcoming campaign. Geoff Clark, an Outkick betting analyst, is previewing each NFL division and starting with the Detroit Lions in the NFC North to see if they can replicate their magic from the previous season.

Analyst Geoff Clark Isn’t Hot on the Detroit Lions: Initially, Clark highlighted the advantages of the Lions’ upcoming schedule, calling it “beatable” despite being more challenging than previous year. He also brought up the fact that QB Jared Goff struggles in cold weather and pointed out that 14 of the Lions’ upcoming games will be played indoors, which should help. “Technically, the Lions have a ‘first-place schedule’ in 2024, but it’s beatable,” Clark remarked. “Goff’s biggest bugaboo is playing outdoors in winter conditions. That said, they will play 14 indoor games this season and its only ‘bad weather’ game is at the Chicago Bears in Week 16. With this in mind, Detroit should be better in 2024, right?” Clark
