All players in the Premier League who have contracts expiring at the end of the 2023–24 season

A number of well-known Premier League players are nearing the conclusion of their contracts and may become free agents at the end of the campaign. Many players decide to finish out their contracts before deciding on their next move, but some will finally pledge their future to the team. Every Premier League player whose contract expires in 2024 has been examined. An asterisk means that the player’s contract has an option to be extended by the club for an additional year, but it hasn’t been triggered yet. Please take note that neither academy players nor loanees who have not yet signed a professional contract are included.

Liverpool

  • Adrian: The goalie
  • Joel Matip is the center back.
  • Thiago: Midfielder

Although Varane’s contract with United really expires in June 2024, and United has the option to extend it by one year, the club has previously stated that Varane was under contract until 2025. ESPN reports that because exercising the one-year option would keep the 31-year-old earning £340,000 a week, United is hesitant to do so. When Martial’s contract expires at the end of the current campaign, the Red Devils have also opted not to exercise the option to extend it. However, Fernandez’s one-year option will be activated by United, since he appears to be planning to convert his loan move to Benfica into a permanent agreement.
