They appear to be on the sides, gazing in, rather than expressing a solid interest. It appears strange for either side to be interested, given that Arsenal will buy David Raya on a permanent basis, Aston Villa have Emi Martinez, and Valles is unlikely to go to number two, even in the Premier League. Instead, his agent could be stirring up interest and leaking names in anticipation of a very busy summer.
