Liverpool Faces Competition for West Ham’s Mohammed KudusL

Liverpoolcould face competition from Manchester United to sign West Ham star Mohammed Kudus, according to The Mirror. Kudus, who scored 14 goals in all competitions during his debut season in English football, has caught the attention of top Premier League clubs, including Liverpool.

Additionally, the new Liverpool home shirt for the 2024/2025 season, featuring a chrome yellow pattern design inspired by the legendary ’84 home shirt, is now available for purchase. This shirt commemorates the season when the Reds became European Champions for the fourth time and the first English club to win a treble of major honors.

Kudus joined West Ham from Ajax last summer for $47m (£38m/€44m), and given his performances in 2023/24, the London club would likely demand much more. His contract includes a release clause worth more than double that amount, but it doesn’t take effect until 2025.

Liverpool.com comments that Liverpool may only need a winger if another forward leaves this summer. The Reds should focus on other areas of the squad in the coming months, but this could change if a player departs.
