Arsenal is considering a double swoop worth £3 million for two teenagers who have also attracted interest from Dortmund and Liverpool.

Arsenal is reportedly showing interest in signing two promising teenage talents who have also caught the attention of Liverpool and Borussia Dortmund.

It appears that Edu Gaspar’s team has adjusted their approach in the past year or so and is now ready to compete with top European clubs to secure the best young talents.

While Mikel Arteta hasn’t frequently turned to the Hale End academy during his tenure at the club, this decision is understandable given the demands on the first team.

Despite the potential of players like Myles Lewis-Skelly and Ethan Nwaneri, they are not yet at a level to contribute to Arsenal’s title aspirations or handle the rigors of a Champions League campaign.

However, they could be ready in the next year or two, and Arsenal seems to be planning to recruit some of Europe’s finest young talents to complement their homegrown stars.

Arsenal has been informed that young Croatian duo Lovro Chelfi (16) and Niko Tomasevic (17) would be available for a combined fee of £3 million, according to Croatian outlet Index.

The report describes Chelfi and Tomasevic as exceptionally talented youngsters who could each be acquired for €2 million, with additional future clauses included in the deal.

Kustosija, the duo’s current club, has a history of selling young players, with Faye moving to Barcelona for €5 million last year and Dino Klapija joining RB Leipzig in January for a similar fee.

If Arsenal proceeds with their interest in Chelfi, an attacking midfielder/winger, and Tomasevic, a traditional number eight, they would likely initially join Hale End but could soon be considered for Arteta’s first-team plans in the coming years.
