Liverpool has announced that they have let go of one of their highly anticipated young players.

Liverpool has released one of their highly anticipated young talents in recent times. The decision was based on the lack of progress observed by the club. The release was confirmed in Liverpool’s 2024/25 retained list, which also includes notable departures such as Joel Matip and Thiago.

Musialowski, who joined Liverpool in 2020, showed great promise as a 16-year-old, especially after impressing with a remarkable goal against Newcastle United Under 18s in 2021. Despite high expectations and training with the senior team, Musialowski only made one senior appearance. His departure signifies a deviation from the anticipated trajectory he once seemed destined for.

Adam Lewis, another academy graduate who debuted for the seniors in 2020, and Melkamu Frauendorf, who showed promise but couldn’t meet expectations, will also leave the club. Additionally, several other academy players, including Nathan Giblin, Francis Gyimah, Luke Hewitson, Niall Osborne, and Cody Pennington, will depart this summer.
