‏REPORT: Fulham have sign £45 million Manchester City player this summer, according to the reporter……

Fulham might try to sign a certain Manchester City player in a summer transfer. Gabriel Jesus, Cole Palmer, Raheem Sterling, and Oleksandr Zinchenko are just a few of the Manchester City players that Premier League teams like Arsenal and Chelsea have previously acquired. A journalist has discovered another London squad that might try to sign a current City player now that another summer transfer season has opened. Summer transfer window 2024 for Manchester City: Verified arrivals, departures, loan outs, and releases A journalist claims that Fulham may take a look at a possible deal involving Kalvin Phillips. The manager and head coach of Manchester City, Pep Guardiola, has a meeting with Sergio Gomez and Kalvin Phillips prior to inserting them as replacements. As reported by Sky Sports, Manchester City paid £45 million for Kalvin Phillips from Leeds United in the 2022 summer transfer window.

After making just six starts in 31 matches for City, the midfielder was loaned to West Ham United in the previous January transfer window.

While at the East London club, the Englishman only started three of the eight Premier League games he participated in between February and April.

Phillips’ performances in those eight league games resulted in a disappointing overall season rating of 5.89/10 on WhoScored, making him West Ham’s lowest-rated player.

As Jones highlighted, Joao Palhinha has been strongly linked with a move to Bayern Munich, who have had two offers for the midfielder turned down by Fulham, according to BBC Sport.

Considering how poorly Phillips performed when given the chance to play for the Hammers, it seems odd that Fulham, even if they are without Palhinha next season, might look to the City outcast to replace the Portuguese international.

Nevertheless, we believe the best course of action for all parties this summer is for City to sell Phillips, who Danny Murphy suggested last month would be better off joining Everton if they made an offer for him.
