FULHAM REPORT: FIFA agent predicts Tottenham  want to pay £30m for winger

FIFA agent believes Tottenham won’t be willing to spend £30 million on a winger. Federico Chiesa is more likely to finish up at West Ham United or Fulham than Tottenham Hotspur this summer, according to FIFA agent David Lavelle. Juventus’ Federico Chiesa is expected to go. Chiesa, who is now in the last year of his contract with Juventus, is anticipated to depart Turin this summer in pursuit of a new challenge. The Italy international has been instructed to find a new club, as disclosed a few days ago by Thiago Motta, the new head coach of the Old Lady (Fabrizio Romano).

Spurs will not want to pay £30m for Chiesa

Lavelle has now backed up that claim, revealing that he had heard nothing of Spurs’ interest in the former Fiorentina man.

When asked if Chiesa could move to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, the agent old Bianconero: “I haven’t heard anything about it, to be honest. I didn’t hear anything about that noise. This is news to me.”

However, Lavelle suggested that the winger could indeed be London-bound, naming the Cottagers and Hammers as potential destinations for the player.

“He is a very, very talented player,” he said speaking of Chiesa. That is most certainly a possibility. Cristiano (Giuntoli, ed.) and I talked. “I believe he may be a possibility for a few Premier League clubs, and I can say that we have some demands from West Ham and Fulham for a left winger who would be willing to pay. Convincing him will be extremely difficult, though. Selling him is going to be difficult. Chiesa would consider Tottenham, although they have a number of players that fit that description. But I don’t think they’ll pay €35 million.

Spurs Online Views Players with Premier League experience seem to be the preferred choice for Tottenham and Postecoglou. That’s the reason they seem to favor Dominic Solanke over Jonathan David and Pedro Neto over Federico Chiesa.
