It Have Happened Again New York Yankees Aaron Judge Hits 300th Home Run See How It Happened …

The New York Yankees defeated the Chicago White Sox 10-2 on Wednesday night. Aaron Judge, the six-time All-Star and 2022 American League MVP, drove a 3-0 up-and-in sinker Chad Kuhl into the White Sox bullpen in left for his major league-leading 43rd home run. The White Sox lost again as Judge reached 300 home runs faster than any other player.

Ralph Kiner hit his 300th home run in his 1,087th game, while Babe Ruth achieved it in his 3,831st at-bat. The Chicago team intentionally walked Juan Soto to face Aaron Judge, who hadn’t hit a home run on a 3-0 pitch since 2021. Soto had already hit a home run in the first inning off Davis Martin, marking his fourth in two games and his 34th of the season. Austin Wells followed Judge’s homer with one of his own, making it the eighth time this season the Yankees hit consecutive home runs. Wells also drove in two runs with a single in the seventh inning, giving the Yankees a 4-2 lead. Gavin Sheets hit a home run to start the second inning against rookie Will Warren and added an RBI single in the fourth, putting Chicago ahead 2-1. However, the White Sox missed the chance to win the series against the AL East leaders, losing for the 26th time in 28 games. This marked their 12th consecutive series loss, bringing their record to 29-93. The White Sox are now on track to finish with a 39-123 record, which would be the worst since the 1899 Cleveland Spiders, who ended the season 20-134.
