The Detroit Lions are still unsure about their wide receiver situation after passing on selecting a wide receiver in the 2024 NFL Draft and just signing Donovan Peoples-Jones as a free agent. Amon Ra St. Brown, Jameson Williams, and Kalif Raymond are the locks on the roster, while the remainder of the team’s players are unknown.Few have shown up during training camp and the preseason, but no one has really assumed the third position in the starting lineup. Raymond is a sure thing for the club, but the coaches would rather use him in specific packages rather than as a wide receiver on every play. Raymond isn’t a big enough wide receiver for the squad, and they need one.
