Buffalo Bills have Now sign the former Oregon football QB Anthony Brown

As NFL clubs progress through the preseason and head into the regular season, this is the time of year when injuries can start to mount up. The Minnesota Vikings and the Buffalo Bills areamong the teams who have been severely impacted by the injury bug. A former Oregon football signal-caller now has the chance to create an impression among the athletes who are not getting much attention. The Buffalo Bills signed Anthony Brown on Monday. After injuries sidelined starter Lamar Jackson in 2022, the former Duck played in just two games for the Baltimore Ravens. In a game against the Bengals in the late season, he threw two interceptions. This time, he’ll probably be competing for another chance in Buffalo, probably on the bench. Since Josh Allen is not playing this week due to a knee injury, the Bills added Brown to the quarterback room. Mitchell Trubisky, Allen’s backup, also went down. Ben DiNucci and he will probably both get playing time. For a former Oregon Duck who was successful on the field in Eugene, here is another chance. He went 10-4 in Eugene’s 2021 campaign, throwing for nearly 3,000 yards and gaining over 600 yards on the ground with his foot. With stops thus far in Las Vegas, where he was a Raider for eight months before to being dismissed on August 16, and Baltimore, where he was drafted, Brown is starting to resemble an NFL journeyman. It will make its third stay here for Brown is trying to earn a spot on the roster of a squad that already features Josh Allen, one of the best signal-callers in the NFL. On Saturday, August 24, at 10 a.m. PT, the Bills will play their last preseason game against the Carolina Panthers. Buffalo plays host to the Arizona Cardinals on September 8 to kick off the regular season.
