EXCLUSIVE DEAL: at last Van Den Berg is already in

Middlesbrough holds firm as Fulham considers Van Den Berg’s move in an exclusive

Rav van den Berg, a center back for Middlesbrough, has surfaced as Fulham’s late transfer target. FootballTransfers has discovered, though, that his present team is committed to doing all within their power to keep him. The Dutchman is now a target for the Cottagers, as Marco Silva continues to look to shore up his defense. The club signed Joachim Andersen from Crystal Palace and Jorge Cuenca from Villarreal, but more players are still needed for the backline because Tim Ream went to Charlotte FC and Tosin Adarabioyo to Chelsea. Van den Berg is regarded as one of Boro’s most important assets. The team will exert every effort to retain the 20-year-old, who arrived from PEC Zwolle of the Netherlands at Riverside Stadium last summer. The young player’s contract expires in the summer of 2027, and as of right now, there’s no word on whether or not he would be amenable to moving to west London. It comes after Andre, a midfield player going to Wolves for his medical as part of a €30 million deal, was passed over by Fulham in the pursuit of signing him from Fluminense. Having completed the Fluminense academy, Andre has made 197 appearances to date. He assisted the team in winning major championships such as the Recopa Sudamericana and the Copa Libertadores.

Andre had put in a lot of work for Fulham; in the summer of last year, he was connected to West Ham and Liverpool. Fluminense held out for a greater price after the West London club submitted an offer for Andre that was less than €25 million. Andre was being watched by Fulham since the previous year, and the club’s executives, together with Marco Silva, had lengthy discussions with the player. However, a deal fell through, as FootballTransfers disclosed earlier in this window. Although Andre received attention from Serie A clubs as well, he was always set on moving to England to establish himself in the Premier League. The player’s representatives already enjoy a solid working relationship with Wolves.
