Liverpool made the decision to terminate their contract with Nike for apparel because the club was “disappointed” by the promised £30 million. According to finance expert Kieran Maguire, who spoke with Football Insider exclusively, the Reds will receive a greater flat fee as part of their Adidas contract. Adidas and Liverpool have agreed to a five-year agreement for Adidas to replace Nike’s uniforms starting in the 2025–2026 season. Under a special deal, Nike pays the Merseyside club a fixed fee of £30 million in exchange for a sizeable commission percentage from merchandise sales.
