Steven Alzate, a midfielder from Colombia, has signed a two-year contract with Hull City, with a one-year club option. After leaving Brighton & Hove Albion, where he
played 51 games, 43 of them in the Premier League, the 26-year-old became a free agent. After spending the first half of the 2018–19 season on loan at Swindon Town, where he appeared in 26 games, he joined the Seagulls in July 2017 after playing 12 games for Leyton Orient.
